NEW YORK — CNN anchor Poppy Harlow caused some concern Monday morning when she appeared to pass out during a live broadcast.

The six-month-pregnant anchor was discussing the results of a new poll about Americans’ attitudes to the war on terror when she began the slur her words.

‘We have this new CNN/ORC poll which is quite – a quite a turn…in a…’ Harlow trails off, before a gasp is heard in the background and the network cuts to commercial.

It was not clear whether Harlow lost consciousness or not but CNN returned with a long segment from another reporter. At the end of the clip, Harlow reappeared at the anchor desk to say she was fine.

‘For all of you on Twitter, who are asking if I’m OK, thank you so much. I got a little hot, and I passed out for a moment,’ she explained. ‘I am fine.’

After leaving the show, Harlow took to Twitter, saying she went to the hospital and that her doctor says her ‘little girl due this spring is doing just fine’.

‘Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!’ Harlow tweeted.
