Newsroom Internship

Website EastIdahoNews.com
First, a little about us. EastIdahoNews.com is the #1 news website in eastern Idaho. Since we launched in 2015, we’ve had over 800 million pageviews by millions of users around the world.
We are locally owned, based in Idaho Falls and have former TV, newspaper and radio journalists working to bring the best news coverage to our audience every day. We have over 200,000 followers on Facebook and nearly 560,000 YouTube subscribers.
We don’t want to brag, but we’ve won dozens of awards – including a national Edward R. Murrow award. Our reporters’ work is featured on other websites and television programs all the time.
Now here’s what we want from you as an intern.
The East Idaho News journalist intern focuses on website editorial support and news writing for EastIdahoNews.com.
The intern will be responsible for assisting in uploading, creating, and editing web content, and assisting in the overall planning of new content creation. East Idaho News offers coveted internships in a professional environment that focuses on a hands-on learning model.
