Pocatello man faces slew of charges after being arrested at pawn shop

POCATELLO — A man was arrested on several charges after police say he stole from multiple business.
Nathaniel Barker, 48, was taken into custody after he tried to pawn a stolen item, according to Pocatello Police spokeswoman Dianne Brush. The owner of the pawn shop contacted officers who responded to the store and arrested Barker.
Police obtained a search warrant for Barker’s home and discovered stolen firearms and methamphetamine.
Barker is charged with grand theft, theft of firearms, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
