REXBURG — An award-winning and entertaining pianist known as the “The Backwards Piano Man” is returning to the Upper Valley for a Christmas performance.
Jason Lyle Black is taking his show on the road to five states and he’ll be kicking the tour off in Rexburg followed by performances in Washington, Arizona, California and Utah.
“This is my Christmas concert and when I came before it was my current non-holiday show. This is a totally new show with what I hope will become a tradition in Rexburg,” Black told EastIdahoNews.com.
Black says he’ll be highlighting three local teenagers in the show who will be coming up on stage to take part in the performance.
On top of that, beatboxer Parker Kane, a BYU-Idaho student famed for his McDonalds Dubstep, will be performing in the show.
“We’ll be doing some piano, beatbox stuff together so that’s going to be a lot of fun and I’ve never actually had beatbox guest on stage yet so this is a first,” Black said.
The show will be at the Rexburg Tabernacle on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. It is sold out but tickets may be available the evening of the show.
