Snowmobiler flown to hospital after crashing in Island Park

ISLAND PARK — A woman was flown to the hospital Tuesday after crashing her snowmobile near Henry’s Lake in Island Park.
Emergency crews were called around 10:45 a.m. after officials say the snowmobiler hit a rock and complained of back and chest pains.
A medical helicopter was dispatched and the woman, who is in her 40s, was airlifted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
US Highway 20 was closed for a brief period of time to allow the helicopter to land and take off.
The name and condition of the snowmobiler has not been released.
