Buccaneers Cornerback Talib Suspended Four Games

Getty Nice Footballs?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1350169357072(NEW YORK) —  Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib has been suspended four games by the NFL for using Adderrall.

“Around the beginning of training camp, I made a mistake by taking an Adderall pill without a prescription,” Talib said. “This is especially regrettable because, for the past several months, with Coach Schiano’s help, I’ve worked very hard to improve myself — professionally and personally — as a player and a man. I am truly sorry to my teammates, coaches and Buccaneers fans, and I’m disappointed in myself.”

Talib will not appeal the suspension which he will begin serving immediately. He will eligible to return to the active roster Nov. 4.

The former first round pick has 21 tackles, seven passes defended and one interception on the season.
