Eugen “Gene” David Williams
April 24th, 1939 - October 11th, 2022
Eugen “Gene” David Williams, 83, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at his home on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Gene was born o April 24, 1939 in Los Angeles California to Jeanne Frank Williams and LuPrele Roberts.
Gene worked as part of the Coast Guard in the United States Public Health as a surgeon. He continued his profession as an orthopedic surgeon in California. Gene later retired to Victor, Idaho.
Gene was affiliated with the AQHA, NRA, NRHA, NRCHA, and IdRHA. His hobbies were sailing, hunting, fishing and Western Equestrians.
He is survived by his son, Adam David (Jana Vaughn) Williams of Victor ID, grandson Morgan David Williams of Victor ID, sister Joan LuPrele Williams of Kahuku HI, nephews Jonathan Martin Reid of Ogden UT and David Michael Reid of Herriman UT. Gene is preceded by his parents.
Services for Gene will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing starting at 9:30 a.m. at the LDS Building in Victor (87 E Center St, Victor ID 83455). Interment will follow the service at the Cedron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Idaho Reining Horse Association.
