Brent Riley Simon

Brent Riley Simon, 72 of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away on April 10, 2023.

Brent was born September 9, 1950 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The youngest of six children, he was born to Jake H. Simon and Ellen Hammer Simon. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1968 and married Shannon Hoyle later that year. They had two children, Brady Simon and Kristi Simon Stapleton. Brent and Shannon were later divorced. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and two great grandchildren, brothers, Warren and Ray and his sisters, Aloha, Carolyn and Dale.

Brent lived in Idaho Falls and Twin falls and had recently moved to Caldwell, Idaho to be closer to his kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He loved to hunt, fish and garden and was looking forward to helping Brady and Kristi with their gardens this summer.

Brent had his fair share of troubles, but he loved his family and he will be remembered by them with love and gratitude knowing he is at peace.

Graveside services will be at the Ammon Cemetery on June 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
