Christy Miller

Christine “Christy” Powell Miller, 75, of St. Anthony, passed away June 9, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Christy was born September 13, 1947, in St. Anthony to Jack Nyle and Donna Lou Welker Powell. She was raised and attended schools in St. Anthony.

She married Randy Kurt Miller on January 17, 1964, at her parents home. She and Randy lived their entire married lives in St. Anthony.

Christy worked in Customer Service at Artco for 33 years, starting in 1977, and worked there until her retirement. She enjoyed the people she worked with and made many friends during her time there.

She enjoyed being in Island Park, camping and staying at the cabin. Spending time with her family was her favorite thing. She loved her grandchildren!

She is survived by her husband Randy of St. Anthony; daughter Lisa (Jerry) Robles; grandchildren, Mitch Larsen, Brandee (Allen) Mathis, Krystal Larsen, Jayden Robles, Bryson Robles; great-grandchildren, Kambree, Leighton, and Kenadee; sisters-in-law, Vikki Richards, Shanna Garner, and Tanna McCulloch. Christy also leaves behind her little dog, Josie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Donna Powell; son, Kurt Nyle Miller; father-in-law, Karl L Miller; mother-in-law, Inez Birch Welker; brothers-in-law, Larry Miller, Larry Garner, and Cleve Richards.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, at the St. Anthony Stake Center, 247 East 4th North. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to services. Interment will be in the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Baxter Funeral Home.
