Tina Michele Perez, age 62, passed away at her home with family by her side in Rigby, Idaho, on September 7th, 2023, from frontotemporal dementia.

Tina was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on February 28th, 1961, to Joan (Kirby) and Charles “Chuck” Dearborn. She attended Bonneville High School and graduated from Madison High School in 1979 where she was an avid member of the Drill Team. Tina went on to earn her associate degree from Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical School (now College of Eastern Idaho). After graduation, Tina used her exceptional organizational skills working at a local law firm in Idaho Falls.

While Tina was a single mother, working and putting herself through college, she met the love of her life, Tony. They married on August 23rd, 1986, in Idaho Falls. T&T spent 37 incredible years together. They made their home in Idaho Falls before moving to Rigby in 1993 where Tina designed their dream home.

After Tony retired in 2014, they spent their winters in Queen Valley, Arizona where Tina enjoyed golfing, bird watching, and jeeping in the mountains. Tina was a gifted painter, a talented piano player, and an incredible cook. She absolutely loved reading and had a love for all animals. She lit up every room she walked into and was such a devoted, loving, and fierce mom to her four kids. Tina loved all her grandkids more than anything and loved her special time with each of them.

Tina is survived by her loving husband, Tony Perez, her four children Brandon Beck of Idaho Falls, ID, Amy (Marc) Woolley of Layton, UT, Michael Perez of Rigby, ID, and Samantha (Stephen) Parrott of Nampa, ID, her mother, Joan Dearborn of Burton, ID, her brother Charles “Kip” (Elana) Dearborn of Centennial, CO, her sister Tanya (Lynn) Kauer of Burton, ID and her 8 most loved grandchildren, Iris, Katelyn, Justin, Spencer, Jared, Jackson, Reagan, and Wilson. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Charles H. Dearborn.

The celebration of life for Tina Perez will be held Saturday, September 16th, 2023. Visitation with family will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and the Services at 2:00 pm at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, Idaho. Please wear pink, Tina’s favorite color to honor her.

Tina’s family would like to give special thanks to Alliance Home Health and Hospice for their exceptional care of her over the last nine months. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she was well cared for and comfortable and provided excellent support for Tony.
