Rose Ann Ard

Rose Ann Ard, age 68 passed away on December 21, 2023 in Idaho Falls surrounded by her loving family.

Rose was born on September 15, 1955 to Edward John and Novetta Mary Gunning McGrane in Idaho Falls. She was raised on a farm in the New Sweden area, where she developed her love for animals. She graduated from Skyline High School in 1974 and married Bradley Gilbert. Together they boug ht a house in Ucon where they had four children, Camille, Nichole, Jacob, and Jeffery. Rose and Brad later divorced. A few years later she met and later married Jason Ard. With that marriage came a step daughter Kreckit. who was more like a daughter to the family. Later in life they adopted a son, Daniel. Rose enjoyed time in her garden and looked forward to family gatherings with her ten grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her husband, Jason Ard; Siblings Mary Kirn (Fred), and Bonnie Reava (Chip); her children, Camille Gilbert, Nichole Gilbert (Steven Ellsworth), Jacob Gilbert, (Amanda Melugin), Jeffery Gilbert, Kreckit Keckley (Kody), Daniel Gilbert Ard, and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward McGrane, Novveta Gunning McGrane and her brothers Patrick McGrane and Stan Robinson.
