Barry LaVon Williams, age 77, died from a heart attack in his hotel room in Tagum City, Philippines on January 19, 2024. He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on December 13, 1946, and grew up in Moore, Idaho. He was the oldest son of Joe and Betty Williams.

After graduating from Butte County High School in 1965, he attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Barry was then drafted into the US Army and was stationed in Germany and Vietnam. Upon completion of his military duties, Barry moved to Denver, Colorado where he attended trade school and obtained HVAC and Refrigeration Certification. In 1973, he married Inge Dornonville De La Cour in Denver, Colorado. They later divorced with no children.

At the time of their marriage, Pam had two children, Brian, and Trisha, from a previous marriage and Barry adopted both. In addition, Barry and Pam added to their family by adopting three other children – Steven, Jeffery, and Emma. Barry and Pam divorced in 1990.
