Glendon Nelson

Glendon Lee Nelson (63) unexpectedly passed away on May 22nd, 2024.

He was born on February 1st, 1961, to Helen Marie Palmer and Darwin Lee Nelson in Rexburg Idaho. Growing up he loved to go hunting and fishing with his brothers Randy and Justin. He was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when he was eight years old.

Glendon also loved learning to play the guitar, working on his Chevy truck and going bowling.  He graduated from South Fremont High School; there he met Michelle Bloom. They married and had three daughters: JoDee, Crystal, and Misty. They divorced before he began working at Walter’s Ready Mix where took pride in being one of their drivers. He married JaLyn Morse and welcomed another daughter Shae in 1991. He was excited to share his love of the outdoors with his daughters while going snowmobiling, camping and metal detecting.

Glendon was blessed to get to know his 13 Grandchildren and would have loved to meet his newest great granddaughter, Kendyll. He is survived by His mother H. Marie Nelson, Brothers Justin (Cory) Nelson, Randy Nelson, his daughters JoDee Crain, Crystal (S. Ray) Nelson-Miller, Misty Cook, and Shae (Skyler) Kunz. He is preceded in death by his father Darwin Lee Nelson and his stepdaughter Cymber Schnobrich.

Graveside service will be held on Monday July 29th, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
