Dale Yvonne Fleischman, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 8, 2024, at her home.

Dale was born May 28, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jake H. Simon and Ellen Nedra Hammer Simon. She grew up and attended schools in Iona and Bonneville High School.

On June 25, 1993, she married Elmer Fleischman in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Dale and Elmer made their home in Ammon and Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Dale worked as a cashier for Albertsons.

She was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing at the Eagle’s Club and playing cards with family and friends.

Dale had an infectious smile. She was known by many people for her beautiful smile and personality. She loved all animals, but especially dogs. She faithfully walked her daughter’s dog “Luna” every day for the past four years.

Dale is survived by her husband, Elmer Fleischman of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Marnie (Jodie)

Woodward of Ammon, ID; son, Nick (Tanya) Olsen of Layton, UT; stepson, Scott (Megan)

Fleischman of Spokane, WA; brother, Warren (Kathy (deceased)) Simon of Boise, ID; sister, Aloha (Jon (deceased)) Oud of Leadore, ID; sister, Carolyn Littleford of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Ray (Jolene) Simon of Riverton, UT; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Greg Olsen, brother, Brent Simon, and stepdaughter, Jessica Fleischman.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at Holy Rosary Church, 905 South Lee, Idaho Falls, Idaho. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with a visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
