IDAHO FALLS — The following schools have announced changes to schedules on Thursday due to anticipated frigid temperatures.
CLOSURES
- Mackay School District 182
- Teton School District 401
- The Academy Public Charter Schools
DELAYS
- Alturas International Academy – 2 hour delay
- Alturas Preparatory Academy — 2 hour delay
The National Weather Service an extreme cold warning until 10 a.m. Thursday.
The main area of impact includes the Rexburg, Rigby and Idaho Falls areas, and into Arco and Mud Lake. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 degrees below zero are expected.
