Patricia Anne Conlon-Smith

Patricia Ann Conlon Smith, age 68, suddenly passed away on February 19th, 2025, in her cherished home in Homosassa, Florida. Patty was born to Patricia Ann Hillen Conlon and Paul J. Conlon Jr., in Charlotteville Virginia in 1956. Two years later, the family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where Patty spent the remainder of her childhood, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1974. She formed many close and lasting friendships due to her kind, generous and gregarious nature. She could always be counted on to support her family and friends when needed.

In the early 80’s, Patty met her future husband and love of her life, Arthur Cody Smith and his children Brandon and Kimberly. Patty and Cody were married in 1986. Cody’s work took the family to New York where they made many happy memories and great friendships. Throughout much of their married life, Patty and Cody led active lives, enjoying traveling, boating, skiing, motorcycle riding and gardening. Patty was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the late 90’s. She courageously fought this incurable disease never asking for any sympathy. Cody was always her rock during this difficult period of her life. Patty and Cody retired to Florida in 2007, where they built a beautiful home, and enjoyed visits from friends and family, especially their grandchildren. Cody passed away in 2023, and now they are together forever.

Patty is survived by her beloved mother Patricia Conlon, children Brandon Smith (grandson Gavan) and Kimberly Powell (granddaughter Ruby), her brothers Paul Conlon (Diane), Brian Conlon and Kevin Conlon (Nancy) and her sister Karen Conlon- Empey (Bruce) and her cherished nieces, nephews and godchildren.
