Karl Amun Fangsrud, aged 58, passed away at home from Huntington’s Disease on July 2, 2025.
He was the son of Amun Sherman and Donna Rae Fangsrud — the fifth of 5 children.
He was born on August 6, 1966, in Shelley, Idaho. They moved to Blackfoot after 3 years, where he lived the rest of his life. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 20, 1982. He married Rebecca Maxine Moody on July 11, 1987. He has 2 sons: Amun Alexander Fangsrud and Ives Broderick Fangsrud (Megann) of Blackfoot. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, and 3 brothers: Jack, Gerald, and Eric. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Crystal.
