Sharon McIntosh Lawrence
July 19th, 1942 - August 6th, 2025
Sharon Louise McIntosh Lawrence, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Mackay, Idaho on Wednesday, August 6, 2024.
She was born on July 19,1942, in Denver, Colorado. Sharon attended grade school in both Mackay, Idaho and Mount Vernon, Washington, before returning to Mackay, where she graduated from Mackay High School in 1960.
In 1966, Sharon married John A. Muffett, and together they had one child, John D. Muffett. She later married John C. Lawrence, and they had two children Russell C. Lawrence and Gretchen C. Lawrence.
Sharon spent several years living in Long Beach, California and always loved the ocean. She had a wonderful sense of humor, sharp mind and insight that left a lasting impression on those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar Jesse “Jack” McIntosh and Irene Christine Freidl McIntosh. She is survived by her three children John D. Muffett (Dana) of Moore, Idaho, Russell C. Lawrence of Deary, Idaho, and Gretchen C. Lawrence of Mackay, Idaho; her two brothers J. David McIntosh (Trenna) and Danny McIntosh both of Mackay, Idaho; three nieces; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
