Jeanne Harmer
April 4th, 1948 - August 11th, 2025
Jeanne Frances Harmer, 77, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away August 11, 2025, at her home. She was under the care of Brio Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.
Jeanne was born April 4, 1948, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Lee Edward Smith and Rose Robsel Smith. She grew up and attended schools in Auburn, California.
On March 3, 1978, she married David Charles Harmer in Reno, Nevada. They made their home in Sonora, California, where Jeanne worked as a medical coder for Visiting Nurse Association. After their retirement, Jeanne and David moved to Idaho Falls.
She was a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Pocatello. Jeanne enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family.
Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David Charles Harmer of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angela Raymond of Palm Coast, FL; sister, Nancy Martineau of Idaho Falls, ID; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Ralph and James Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 518 North 5th Avenue in Pocatello. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road in Ammon. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello.
