A man of great dedication and integrity, he devoted much of his life to building and construction — always ensuring his work was done right and with pride. Luis found deep fulfillment not only in his craft but in helping others whenever he could.

Family was the heart of Luis’s life. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Celebrating birthdays — especially his own — brought him joy and laughter. Luis also had a passion for cooking, he loved preparing meals for his family and sharing food as a way to bring people together.

His warm presence, hardworking spirit, and deep love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Luis is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Villa; his daughters, Jhanyce Acosta (Irineo Acosta), Katya O’Connor, and Erika Phillips (Wiley Phillips); and his treasured grandchildren: Vanessa Galaviz, Adan Acosta, Jhannah Acosta, Summit Phillips, and Canyon Phillips. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Vázquez Villa, and his siblings: Elizabeth Olivas, Marisol Olivas, Jorge Villa, Laura Ramirez, Samuel Villa, Iram Villa and Anika Villa. He was preceded in death by his father, Reyes Villa Serrano, and his brother, Joel Villa and sister Mena Selina.

Luis will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the legacy he leaves behind.
