Obituary
Stacy Lynn Pascoe
February 1st, 1961 - November 9th, 2025
Stacy Lynn Pascoe, 64, of Shelley passed away unexpectedly November 9th 2025 at home due to health complications.
Stacy was born February 1st, 1961, in Walnut Creek, CA to Harold Eugene Pascoe and Evelyn Nadine (Hood) Pascoe. He completed the family by joining his older sister Tamara & older brother Kim. He would spend his first 9 years of life living in Brentwood, Oakley, and Byron California. Where they raised horses, cattle, hogs, and played outside every day.
When Stacy was in 4th grade the family moved to West Jordan, UT for 1 short year before settling in Woodville for the remainder of his childhood. In Woodville they explored the lava fields, swam in canals, farmed and had an ideal childhood.
In 1978, when Stacy was 17 years old his dad lost his battle with Leukemia. Stacy, being wise beyond his years and always feeling responsible for those around him, immediately stepped up to help fill his dad’s role in taking care of the family.
He graduated from Shelley High School in 1979. He then dedicated 2 years of his life to serving the Lord for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin mission. Stacy remained a devout member of the Church and held multiple callings in bishoprics, presidencies, and youth groups throughout his life.
Shortly after returning home, he met the love of his life Candace (Candi) Linn Johnson. They were later married and sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 7th, 1983. A year later their son, Seth, was born. In March of 1986 their daughter Randie joined the family. They later made the decision to add to their family and adopted Nick and Albert in December of 2000.
Stacy was a jack of all trades and entrepreneur of multiple ventures. He worked at various jobs as an installer for Markham Mechanical, welding at the INL, and a designer and foreman for Hyde Drift Boats. Stacy started Great Northern Bark, C&S Storage, Pascoe Construction, and built numerous buildings and houses as investments.
Stacy’s dad always told him that if you want to see change, then you need to get involved. He lived by that principle and decided he wanted to help our community and in 2011 he started his service as a City Council Member. He became the Mayor of Shelley in 2013 and served the city and surrounding community with all his heart until his passing.
Stacy leaves behind his eternal companion Candi; children Seth (Sandy) Pascoe from Shelley, Randie (Drew) Case from Shelley, Nick Pascoe and Albert Pascoe from Oxnard, California; his grandkids he lived for: Luke, Grace, Cooper, Talon and Landon Pascoe; Tyler, Conner, Colter and Aubree Case. His mom Evelyn Pascoe, sister Tamara (Mike) Matthews, brother Kim (Janis) Pascoe. Along with many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his dad Harold Pascoe.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and support they have received through this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday November, 17th, 2025 at the Shelley Stake Center, 325 E Locust.
