I like the quote, “Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.” I have examined the preparation, administrative experience, and platforms of the candidates for Idaho Falls mayor.

The Lisa Burtenshaw I have worked with on county issues embodies this quote. She has built relationships with county officials and recognizes that when the city and county work together, taxpayers win.

She has been a change agent for multiple stalled projects with the county.

Lisa understands the importance of agriculture and has supported infill within city boundaries to avoid unnecessary sprawl.

Her résumé shows depth of relevant experience and real familiarity with this community. She is prepared for the challenging job of being chief administrator of the city on day one. In my opinion, she is the best prepared to meet the opportunity immediately and make the city successful.

PLEASE JOIN ME IN VOTING FOR CHANGE WITH LISA BURTENSHAW ON DEC. 2.

Roger Christensen, Bonneville County’s longest-serving commissioner, has spent decades working on county priorities, regional partnerships, and coordinated planning efforts. His deep experience in local government and commitment to responsible growth have made him a respected voice in shaping the future of Idaho Falls and Bonneville County.
