Obituary
Tegan Lee
May 28th, 1967 - November 24th, 2025
Tegan Kyle Lee, 58, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home, and left this world for his next adventure on November 24, 2025.
Tegan was born on May 28, 1967, to Gary Orme Lee and Cheri Von Lee. He was born just shy of an hour after his twin sister, Misty, and she spent the rest of her life reminding him that she was the older child. Tegan grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated in 1985.
Tegan married Linda Garza, and they later divorced. He made his home in Idaho Falls, working as an auto mechanic at Kearn’s Automotive and Marler’s. He later became a certified HVAC technician and worked at Wiemer Heating & Air Conditioning, and Anheuser-Busch. Tegan was a Christian in faith and deeds. He enjoyed fixing things—there was nothing he couldn’t fix, and nobody he wouldn’t help. He loved camping, fishing, motorcycle riding, and most of all, flying. When he was flying, life was good. We will all miss seeing Tegan fly over our houses saying hello. His favorite pastime was hanging out with his good friends.
Tegan loved being outdoors, collecting guns, watching football, animals, and he especially loved his cat, Tiggers—that cat was his baby. Another favorite pastime was camping at Fall Creek with his longtime girlfriend ,“Toots.”
Tegan faced health issues for much of his older life, but he was lovingly cared for by his beloved Toots. He is survived by his loving family: his mother, Cheri Lee (Dennis); his twin sister, Misty (Kurt) Ririe; his sister, Hydie (Gary) Oswald; his half-sister, McKenzie (Chris) Hart; his half-brother, Dusty (Sara) Lee; and his aunt, Linda (Sheldon) Cotten. He also had six nephews and two nieces. Tegan was preceded in death by his father, Gary Orme Lee.
A celebration of Tegan’s life will be scheduled and posted at a later date.
