Jason James Anderson, 47, of Rigby, Idaho passed away on December 19, 2025.

He was born in Denver, Colorado in 1978, to Richard and Trudy Anderson. Their family moved to Tucson, Arizona when Jason was 9 years old, where he enjoyed the warm Arizona sunshine, swimming and being outdoors. He graduated from Sabino High School in 1997, and then joined the U.S. Army serving 4 years active duty as a communications specialist. He earned a wartime ribbon having served in Kosovo. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Jason worked many years in the real estate industry as an escrow officer, title branch manager, real estate agent and finally as a senior mortgage advisor. He and his wife and three children settled in Idaho in the summer of 2013.

Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Trudy Anderson. He is survived by his 3 children, and his brother, Richard “Rick” Anderson Jr.

Jason’s warmth, generosity, and boisterous laugh will be greatly missed. He made friends everywhere he went and will always be remembered as a wonderful friend and loving father.

To honor Jason’s life, donations to Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation would be appreciated.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from Noon to 3:00 pm. All are welcome to come and share good memories and funny stories to celebrate the impact Jason had on our lives. If you plan on attending, please email lynnseyanderson25@gmail.com by Monday, January 26.
