Lawrence Francis Krieger, 95, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 26, 2026, at his home. Family and friends would call him “Pete” or “Larry”.

In 1948 he joined the United States Army, where he served in Germany during the Allied-Occupation.

On September 11, 1954, he married Barbara Janiece Ransom of Idaho Falls in the beautiful city of Compton, CA. While in southern California, he worked for Western Auto and the South Gate GM Plant.

In the late 1950’s, Lawrence and Barbara moved to Lancaster, CA. This would be their home for over 30 years. Lawrence worked for the 6510 Civil Engineering Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base. He retired after 33 years of service. Upon retirement, Lawrence and Barbara moved back to Idaho Falls.

Lawrence was a devoted Catholic, husband, and father.

Lawrence is survived by his loving son, Kevin S. (Don A. Moody) Krieger; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Janiece Krieger; his parents, John and Margaret Krieger; brothers, Valentine Krieger, Joseph Krieger, John Stremmel, Alexander Stremmel, and Pete Krieger Miller; sisters, Angelina Krieger (McAtee), Mary Stremmel (Brown), Rose Krieger (Cleveland), and Mary Krieger (Ball).

Private family services will be held at a later date.
