Debbie Jensen

Debra (Debbie) Jean Martindale-Jensen, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 23, 2026, at her home.
Debbie was born May 9, 1961, in Long Beach, California, to Richard Calvin Martindale and Dorothy Jean Hayes Martindale. She grew up and attended schools in California and graduated from Millikan High School.
On May 15, 1993, she married Thomas Edward Jensen in Long Beach, California. Debbie and Thomas made their home in Idaho Falls where Debbie worked as a registrar for the Idaho Falls Zoo for over 20 years.
Debbie enjoyed jewelry making and the collecting of beads and stones. She also had a passion for art and graphic design, she left her artistic mark on the community by designing the Idaho Falls Zoo logo. She had a love for all animals but a particular fondness towards horses.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Thomas Jensen; son, Tyler Jensen; and sister, Mary Leigh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Martindale.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
