Every week I’m interviewing exciting people from Idaho and around the world!

Cheyenne Jackson is a Grammy-nominated actor and singer-songwriter known for his roles in Broadway musicals, television series and films. He is also an accomplished concert performer who has headlined at Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. He’s been in “30 Rock,” “Will & Grace,” “Descendents: The Royal Wedding” and more.

Cheyenne is bringing his “Mid Life Torso Tour” to the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls on March 12, and I had the privilege of chatting with him.

Here’s what I asked Cheyenne:

  • How did you get your start in acting?
  • Do you have a favorite role that you’ve played?
  • What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned being a dad to twins?
  • You were raised in Idaho. What’s your favorite way to have one of our famous potatoes?
  • Why is your tour called “Mid Life Torso Tour”?
  • What can people expect from your show?
  • Can you share a piece of acting advice with me?
