Jason Robert LaPearle

Jason Robert LaPearle, 44, was born on October 5, 1981. He came into this world with a big presence at 11 pounds 4 ounces and left us the same way, with a big presence. He attended Tiebreaker Elementary, Sandcreek Middle School, and Hillcrest High School. He mostly worked in construction his whole life.

He had so many great friends who all helped each other navigate the roads of this life. They nicknamed him “Jolly” because he was always Jolly and a Gentle Giant.

He was working on the Micron project in Boise, and this is what his coworkers had to say about him.

Jason Lapearle, lovingly known as “Jolly,” was more than a coworker or friend — he was family. A cherished member of our company and community, Jason brought light, laughter, and unwavering dedication everywhere he went. At work, he took immense pride in what he did. Known as the best Superstacker operator, Jason was someone you could always count on to get the job done safely and skillfully. He was one of the original crew members on our mega project and saw it through from start to finish — a true testament to his loyalty, commitment, and strong work ethic.

But his proudest role was being a dad. Jason was a devoted single father who worked long hours and often took on overtime to provide the best life possible for his son. As his son’s primary parent, he carried that responsibility with strength, love, and determination. No matter how tired he was, he always made time for his boy. Everything he did was for his son’s future.

He was also a loving son to his parents. He wanted to do all he could to help them and make sure they were okay. He recently found the love of his life in Angie Sudakow. It saddens our hearts that they were not able to grow old together. They both waited a long time for this kind of love.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, trying new local restaurants, and spending time outdoors exploring nearby nature spots. His laughter was contagious, and he was always ready with a smile or a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Dorothy and Robert Struebing, Arilla and William LaPearle, and his Uncle Gordon LaPearle.

He is survived by his son, Easton LaPearle; his parents, Larry and Dee LaPearle; his sister, Malisa (Clint) Leonard; his nephews, Jaiden and Camren Leonard; and his nieces, Briella and Eliana Leonard.
