Dale William Berggren, 93, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 7, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

Dale was born on September 16, 1932, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Oscar Berggren and Hannah Beckman Berggren. He grew up and lived his whole life on the generational family farm in the Ucon area. He attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated in 1950.

On June 5, 1958, he married Janaye Elaine Hudson at the Mission Covenant Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union, three children were born: Sherrie, LaMonte, and Cammie. Dale was first and foremost a farmer who took pride in farming the family farm. During the winter months, while milking cows, he drove truck for Wycoff delivering mail to Butte, Montana, Roger Brothers, and Fresh Pack. He was a born-again Christian and was an active member of the Mission Covenant Church.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and later in life, spending winters down south in Overton, Nevada, with his wife of 68 years, Janaye. His family said, “He never needed a contract. If he said it, it happened.” He will be remembered for the unconditional love he gave to his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janaye Berggren of Idaho Falls; his daughter, Sherrie (Rod) Ranson of Blackfoot; his son, LaMonte (Lynette) Berggren of Boise; his daughter, Cammie (Kirk) Jessop of Idaho Falls; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Fern Barraza.
