Margene Felix Lindsay, 95, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 28, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Margene was born June 18, 1930, in Logan, Utah, to Carl Otto Felix and Claris Fuhriman Felix. She grew up and attended schools in Logan, and graduated from Logan High School. She also attended Utah State University, and was on the Aggiettes Drill Team.

On August 23, 1950, she married Ray Roger Lindsay in Logan, Utah. Margene and Ray made their home in Idaho Falls, where Margene worked in bookkeeping for the Post Register.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Gospel Doctrine teacher, camp director, Primary President, Relief Society President, Idaho Falls Temple worker, served a mission to South Carolina, and the Family History Center in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed hiking, skiing, bicycling, sewing, summer time, doing genealogy, and loved being with family.

Margene is survived by her daughter, Debra (Randy) Elwood of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Dennis (Lori Waters) Lindsay of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Diane (Larry) Westover of Copperas Cove, TX; daughter, Annette (Larry) Hunter of Smithfield, UT; daughter-in-law, Julie Lindsay of Idaho Falls; sister, Carol Hales of Torrance, CA; sister, Jan Egbert of Woodland Hills, UT; brother, Gerry (Patricia) Felix of Ireland; sister, Relda (Steve) Daines of Hyde Park, UT; 14 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Roger Lindsay; son, John Lindsay; and brother, Joseph Felix.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Idaho Falls 26th Ward, 2025 Jennie Lee Drive, with Bishop Shayne Saari officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. prior. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Services will be broadcast live.
