REXBURG — The City of Rexburg and Madison County are excited to announce their upcoming America 250 celebration featuring a live headlining performance by multi-platinum, chart-topping country music artist Russell Dickerson. It will take place on July 3, 2026, at Madison Bobcat Stadium at Madison High School.
This community celebration will bring residents and visitors together for an evening of live music, connection, and celebration as Rexburg joins communities across the country in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The event is designed to create a space for individuals and families of all ages to gather and celebrate together.
“America 250 is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history and celebrate the future of our community,” said Rexburg Mayor Jerry Merrill. “We’re excited to host an event that brings people together in a meaningful and memorable way.”
The July 3 event will feature a live concert performance by Russell Dickerson, known for hits like “Yours,” “Blue Tacoma,” and “She Likes It.” Russell performed most recent hit, “Happen to Me” at the Macy’s Day Parade and College Game Day last fall.
Following the concert, a drone light show and fireworks finale will cap the evening.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Wednesday, April 1, and will be available through the City of Rexburg’s official event page.
Additional details, including event schedule and logistics, will continue to be updated on the event page as July 3 approaches.
The City & County invite community members and visitors alike to plan ahead and be part of this historic celebration, noting “don’t just hear about it … make sure you’re here for it.”
