Jim Holcomb

James Edward Holcomb, 86, of Ashton, died on May 8, 2026.
James “Jim” was born January 22, 1940, in Emmett, Idaho. He was the youngest of seven children born to William Newton Holcomb and Erna Steinmann Holcomb.
He married Ona Lee Butler on August 29, 1975. Gaining a wife and two sons, Trand and Kevin. They later welcomed a daughter Suzelle and a son Justin.
Jim made his career in banking and loved a day on the golf course.
He is survived by his wife Ona Lee Holcomb of Ashton, Idaho, Trand Orr, Kevin (Kimberlee) Orr, Suzelle (Dave) Burch and Justin (Christina) Holcomb, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 13, at the Marysville LDS Chapel, 1313 North 3600 East, in Ashton. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m., both times at the church. Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery with military honors
