POST FALLS – The condition of two drivers in an early Saturday morning crash in Post Falls is unknown.

Idaho State Police is still investigating the two-vehicle collision that happened around 2:15 a.m. in the eastbound lane of Interstate 90 near mile post 4.2. At least one of the men was injured, according to ISP.

It involved a 22-year-old Post Falls man — his name has not been specified — driving a blue 2012 GMC Terrain. A 25-year-old man from North Baldwin, New York, was driving the second vehicle, a red 2025 Jeep SUV. The preliminary investigation shows the GMC was headed west in the eastbound lanes of I-90 and collided with the Jeep head-on. Alcohol impairment is a suspected factor in this crash.

I-90 was closed for about an hour while emergency responders were on scene.
