Ferrene Fullerton
October 5th, 1953 - August 5th, 2026
Ferrene Fullerton, age 72, of Burton, Idaho, passed away in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Ferrene was born on October 5, 1953, in Rangely, Colorado, to Ferron Moon and Irene Blanchard Moon. Ferrene’s name was a combination of her father’s and mother’s names — a unique name for a very special person.
She married Timothy Lee Fullerton on February 1, 1986.
She earned an associate degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She began her career as a Candy Striper and continued working in nursing until her retirement. She was an OB-GYN nurse, and her most cherished work was mother-baby care. Our wife and mother was a nurse to all, including puppies and kittens.
Ferrene enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, crocheting, cooking, and canning. She was an avid reader who was also known to go fishing once in a while.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Lee Fullerton, of Burton, Idaho; her twin children, Kyle Timothy Fullerton of Billings, Montana, and Kimberly Irene Fullerton of Phoenix, Arizona; her mother, Irene Blanchard Moon of Taylorsville, Utah; her siblings, Leland (Barbara) Moon of Taylorsville, Utah; Clarice Edwards of Michigan (Wayne Edwards, deceased); and Annette (Michael) Sly of Texas; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ferron Moon.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho 83442. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Burton Cemetery in Rexburg, Idaho.
