Woman hospitalized after crash near Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — A Rigby woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening after a two-vehicle crash north of Idaho Falls.

Idaho State Police responded to the crash around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of North 3900 East and County Line Road.

According to ISP, the 30-year-old woman was driving a silver 2018 Honda Odyssey northbound on North 3900 East when she failed to stop at a stop sign. The minivan entered the intersection and was struck on the driver’s side by a white 2026 Ford F-250 traveling eastbound on County Line Road.

The Ford was driven by a 59-year-old Rigby man.

Police said the woman driving the Honda was not wearing a seat belt. The man driving the Ford was wearing his seat belt.

The woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. No additional injuries were reported.

The intersection was blocked for approximately three and a half hours while emergency crews worked at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
