RIGBY – The Vibe, a new 24/7 luxury fitness and wellness gym for women, recently launched in Rigby.

It’s in a small business park at 662 North 4128 East. The private space opened on July 6 and is membership-based. It offers weights and other exercise equipment, pilates, red light therapy, a sauna, shower, recovery and compression boots, massage guns and vanity area.

“It’s a full combination of fitness and wellness,” Nunez tells EastIdahoNews.com. “From the outside, you wouldn’t know that this space was here, but women who walk in here are always wowed by it. The environment is supposed to be a reflection of the vibe, which is where the name comes from.”

Nunez says she’s been looking for a private, comfortable gym like this for years. She couldn’t find one, and that’s what prompted her to open one herself.

Since then, she says it’s made her smile knowing that other women enjoy the space as much as she does.

Its location inside an industrial building off the Menan-Roberts exit north of Rigby is an area that has seen a lot of growth in recent years. Nunez works for a nearby business full-time and she thought its central location near U.S. Highway 20 was ideally suited for customers in Rexburg, Rigby and Idaho Falls.

“We’re two minutes from the Menan-Roberts exit,” she says. “I’ve been really surprised by the number of people from Rexburg. I live in Idaho Falls, but I’m from Rexburg.”

Since the gym is intended to be a private, boutique space, it only has the capacity for about 75 members. Nunez says she’s hoping to eventually open another location in Idaho Falls to serve more customers.

But for now, she says she’s thrilled to see women enjoying the gym and invites others to come and check it out.

“I feel like it’s something special. There’s really nothing like this in the area,” Nunez says. “It’s time that we have something like this. People go to the gym four or five days a week and to go to a space where you feel comfortable and confident, and the environment feels good, is something really special.”
