Billy Park

Billy James “William” Park, 51, of Ammon, passed away August 27, 2026.

Billy was born November 15, 1974, in Rexburg, Idaho. He grew up attending schools in Rexburg graduating from Madison High School. While attending Adams Elementary, he met his best friend, Christopher Clark, creating a bond with the entire Clark family that would last a lifetime.

On February 11, 1995, Billy met the love of his life, Shilo Renee Hall, while holding up the wall in her parents house for their blind date. According to Billy, he knew on that night she was the woman he was going to marry. He made this true, on June 15th, 1996, when he married Shilo in Idaho Falls. Billy and Shilo made a home in Rexburg for a short time before making their forever home in Ammon, Idaho, where Billy worked as a bad-ass semi-truck driver for many years in different fields, from farm to logging. Billy and Shilo made his dream come true by becoming co-owner of White Sands Trucking, LLC.

Billy enjoyed making his collection of vehicles shiny; either by washing, waxing or polishing the chrome. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and riding 4-wheelers with his family. There were many memories made roasting hotdogs and cookin’ s’mores in the fire pit built by Billy and his kids/grandkids. On the weekends, you could find Billy and Shilo at local car and truck shows, or doing anything their grandkids had talked them into. As much as Billy loved his time with family, anyone that knew him knows his best, and probably most enjoyed hobby, was being a smart-ass and giving people shit. A trait he was proud knowing he passed down to his kids and grandkids.

Billy is survived by his wife, Shilo Park of Ammon; son and daughter-in-law, Trace and KaeLeigh Park of Idaho Falls; daughter, Cheridan Park of Ammon; son, Dalton Park of Ammon; daughter, Sophia Teel of Blackfoot; brother-in-law, William (Brandi) Hall of Las Vegas, NV; father-in-law, Jay Hall, and mother-in-law, Sharon Hall of Idaho Falls; honorary mom, Ruth Clark of Sugar City; and 4 grandchildren, or as Billy called them, the little heathens, Ryker, Aydence, Thayne, and BexLeigh.

He was preceded in death by his best friend, Christopher Clark, the other Clark sibling; honorary dad, Rick Clark; and aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Taylor Cemetery, 720 East 129 South.

The family will be planning a Celebration of Life for him to commence on his birthday with further details to come.
