South Rigby exit closed after incident resulting in one death

RIGBY — The Rigby south exit of U.S. Highway 20 is closed after an incident that occurred near the off-ramp.
Rigby Police Chief Allen Fullmer said there is a deceased male, but there is no danger to the public. The incident occurred at the Off Ramp Bar and Grill.
A passerby’s video taken while driving past the bar showed police had their guns out. Whether the video was taken before or after the person died is unknown.
Fullmer encourages the public to avoid South State Street.
