Multiyear champion Sweet Temptations offers award-winning desserts at Eastern Idaho State Fair
Published at | Updated atBLACKFOOT — While there may be a few food vendors that can claim the title of multiyear champions at the Eastern Idaho State Fair, Sweet Temptations is on top of that list.
Lacey Secrist, owner of Sweet Temptations, just made a clean sweep of the 2026 Best Fair Food Contest, securing the top prize in both the Best New Sweet and the Fairest of Them All categories.
The winner of Fairest of Them All is Campfire Secret — a soft, delicious dessert perfect for the warm days ahead at the fair. It has two chocolate cake-like whoopie pies that sandwich a cream cheese filling, and are drizzled with a homemade caramel fondue sauce. The dessert is topped off with strawberries, chocolate chips and pink Himalayan sea salt.

Secrist said everything sold at Sweet Temptations is homemade, and the taste of the Campfire Secret proves it.
The winner of the Best New Dessert is the All-American Whoopie Cookie. The dessert has a cream cheese filling sandwiched by chocolate chip cookies, and it’s topped with caramel sauce, crushed Oreos, strawberries and blue sprinkles. It also comes with a side of vanilla soft serve.

Overall, Sweet Temptations is a must-try at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. The best part is that each item served at Sweet Temptations is available in a gluten-free version.
