BLACKFOOT — With cooler temperatures and the Labor Day weekend, the Eastern Idaho State Fair hosts thousands of attendees as it celebrates America’s 250th anniversary.

The theme for this year’s fair was Red, White and Blue Jeans with numerous pairs of jeans strewn about the fair grounds.

For those looking at more patriotic things to do, the EISF’s food vendors have gone all out to create unique dishes to celebrate America’s 250 in colorful or calorie dense options.

The fair started on Friday and will end on Sept. 12. For those looking to learn more or to buy tickets, visit funatthefair.com.
