JEROME – The coroner has released the identities of two people who died in a car crash.

On Sunday, James Michael Snow Jr., 58, and his daughter, 14-year-old Gianna Biondo, died after their vehicle collided with another on U.S. Highway 93, according to Jerome County Coroner Dan Chatterton. Next of kin have been notified.

Chatterton said that both victims were residents of Jerome.

Snow and Biondo were traveling east on East 100 South in a 2008 Isuzu Ascender when they came to a stop sign where the road intersects with US-93. At the same time, a 57-year-old from Gooding was traveling south on the highway in a 2021 Ford F150, according to a release from the Idaho State Police.

“The Isuzu failed to yield at the stop sign when turning onto US-93 and collided with the Ford,” the release reads.

The crash took place at approximately 9:06 a.m. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

“With Gianna, the medical responders attempted to obtain a pulse, but they were unable to revive her at the scene,” Chatterton said.

The release states that all occupants were wearing their seat belts during the accident.

The driver of the pick-up truck was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
