Zola Bell Lindbloom
February 24th, 1938 - October 1st, 2026
Zola Bell Lindbloom, beloved daughter of God and friend to everyone graduated from mortal life on October 1, 2026.
Zola was married to Richard Lindbloom. They lived in Virginia, Colorado, Washington, and Idaho. He preceded her in death in 2021. She has 3 lovely daughters: Julie (Jay) Omanson of Utah, Karla (John) Worthington of Virginia, and Gail (Greg) Geisler of Idaho. Zola was blessed with 14 wonderful grandchildren who continue to increase the number of great grands to 29 and counting…
Fishing and camping with her family were activities she enjoyed, along with growing a vegetable garden and canning the produce, sewing clothes and quilting. Most of all, she loved being with her family. Traveling with her husband prior to his passing and visiting family and friends brought joy to her life.
After her husband’s death, Zola renewed her devotion to her Savior through active participation in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed attending church and the temple with her friends.
Zola is survived by her three daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, Robert Welker and Orrin (Colleen) Welker and sister-in-law, Susan Welker.
Preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Nellie Ida (Hall) Welker; sisters, Betty Lou Thompson, and Delores Hilton; and her brother, Willis H Welker.
A viewing will be on Friday, October 9 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm with family prayer following, at Eckersell Funeral Home, (101 W Main St. Rigby, ID.) A graveside service will be Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 am at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery (3800 East Menan-Lorenzo Hwy in Rigby, ID). If inclement weather, location will be at 11:00 am at the Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID.
