Christopher Eugene Jarman, age 46, was born December 17th, 1979. He will be remembered most for his love of his family, his humorous spirit, and the memories he shared with those he cherished.

Chris loved spending time with his family. He would find any chance to get together and party, whether it was floating the river, fishing in his secret spots, watching football, or just hanging out in the backyard and making sure everyone listened to his favorite music. He was also a huge 49ers fan and never missed a chance to show his support for his favorite team.

Chris had a personality that will never be forgotten. He was compassionate, incredibly stubborn, and always knew how to get a laugh out of someone. His sense of humor and willingness to help those around him will be something his family will cherish forever.

Above everything, Chris loved being a husband and a father. His children, Maria, Christopher, and Alexandria were his purpose and proudest accomplishment, and he loved them more than anyone could put into words. He took pride in the excellent individuals he and his loving wife, Julisa, raised despite the challenges they faced.

Becoming a grandfather brought him so much joy, and he was so proud of his grandchildren, Maizee and Roscoe. Chris recently spoke about how excited he was to become a grandfather for a third time and was so excited to meet his newest grandson soon. Sadly, he passed away before his grandson was able to make his grand entrance into this world. Though he never had the chance to hold him here on Earth, there is a special comfort in knowing Chris was the first to meet him in his own special way. His newest grandson will grow up knowing that he was loved by his grandfather who couldn’t wait to meet him and will carry Chris’ warmth with him wherever he goes.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Julisa Moreno of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Maria (Jayden Melish) Jarman of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Christopher Jarman of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Alexandria Jarman of Idaho Falls, ID; grandchildren, Maizee and Roscoe, along with his grandson who is soon to arrive. He is also survived by his mother, Rochelle (Edward Kenny) of Missoula, MT; his father, Eugene (Vicki) Jarman of Idaho Falls,ID; sister, Holly (JJ) Steed of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Dakota Jarman of Ogden, UT; and sister, Leslie (Chris) Newby of Idaho Falls, ID.

He leaves behind family and friends who love him deeply, and the memories of him will never be forgotten. They will remember him in the songs he loved, the days spent on the river, the laughter at family gatherings, and all of the little moments that made him who he was.

His time here was cut far too short, but the love he had for those close to him will live on through them. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
