Brad Eugene Nelson
February 10th, 1968 - October 16th, 2026
Brad Eugene Nelson, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 16, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
Brad was born February 10, 1968, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Daniel Charles Nelson and Barbra Mae Colman Nelson. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and attended A.H. Bush and Skyline High School.
In 1989, he married Martine Ilean Fleming in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Brad and Martine made their home in Idaho Falls, where Brad worked as a Jack of all trades. He enjoyed camping, fishing, collecting coins, going on drives, playing the lottery, and daily safety meetings. Anyone who knew him knew just how much he loved his children and grandchildren.
Brad is survived by his daughter, Heather (Jacob) Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jacob Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Iola Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Carol (Les) Weimer of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Bonnie Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Debi Thomas of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Mike Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Sharon (Brian) Cecil of Idaho Falls, ID; girlfriend, Robbi Fowler, of Idaho Falls, ID; and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martine Ilean Nelson; parents, Daniel and Barbra Nelson; brother, Daniel Paul Nelson; and brother-in-law, Butch Wiemer.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6:30-8 p.m. and Friday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
