CHUBBUCK — Drivers traveling on Yellowstone Avenue in Chubbuck should expect a brief traffic stoppage Friday morning as a house moves through the area.
The Idaho Transportation Department says traffic will be stopped at approximately 9:30 a.m. to allow the large load to travel north from Mingo Lane to Siphon Road.
The stoppage is necessary because of ongoing construction on Yellowstone Avenue and is expected to last about 15 minutes.
The Idaho Transportation Department issues permits for oversized loads traveling on state highways. The permitting process aims to accommodate commercial transportation while minimizing disruptions to other drivers.
