Allen Adrian Grimaud, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 27, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family, Aspen Home Health & Hospice, and nurse, Britney.

Allen was born October 26, 1965, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Adrian Vernon Grimaud and Carolyn Fay Cornwall Grimaud. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.

On March 23, 2002, he married Sherri LaVerne Glauser in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They made their home in Idaho Falls where Allen owned a small remodeling company with his oldest son, Joe (Idaho Falls Construction & Remodeling). He brought all of his kids to work with him over the years, teaching them various skills of the trade, influencing many of their career paths. He loved working out at the gym and the memories made working out with his son, Baden.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and taught in the Primary and Sunday School, served as Young Mens President, Scoutmaster, and in the Elders Quorum, High Council, as a ward missionary, an ordinance worker at the Idaho Falls Temple, a bishopric member at BYU-Idaho, and as a service missionary with his wife, Sherri, for the Idaho Falls, Idaho Mission.

When Allen was young, he loved fishing and swimming in rivers and canals with his brother, Richard. He enjoyed working on cars, but as he got older, taking care of his family and being with his kids brought him the most joy. Allen’s main focus was on God and serving Him. He was an honest man.

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Grimaud of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jessica (James) Grimaud of Iona, ID; sons, Joseph Grimaud of Ammon, ID, Jared Grimaud of Idaho Falls, ID, Colten (Kia) Glauser of Idaho Falls, ID, Jared (Jessica) Grimaud of Phoenix, AZ, and Dustin (Adriana) Grimaud of Shelley, ID; sisters, Marilyn Henry of Idaho Falls, ID, Barbara Francis of Idaho Falls, ID, Shirley Henry of Idaho Falls, ID, and Janet (Stan) Ingram of Ammon, ID; and 16 grandchildren.
