Obituary
Ardell Nagle
October 1st, 1950 - October 12th, 2025
Ardell M. Nagle, 75, of St. Anthony, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born on October 1, 1950, in St. Anthony, Idaho, the fourth of seven children to Harold and Minnie Nagle. She was raised in Parker, Idaho, where she developed a strong work ethic and love for the outdoors while helping on the family ranch, particularly with raising sheep. Ardell graduated from South Fremont High School in 1969.
After high school, she continued to work on the ranch before taking a job at a potato packaging plant, later known as High Country Potato. It was there she began her journey as a truck driver, a career she pursued for the next 17 years with dedication and pride. Following her time on the road, Ardell worked in the shipping department at Hortense B. Hewitt. When that chapter closed, she moved into retail, working at K-Mart and eventually finishing her career at CAL Ranch Stores — a job she truly loved. She formed lasting connections with customers and co-workers alike and was known for her friendly and welcoming nature.
Ardell had a deep love for the outdoors. She took great pride in her garden and yard and was happiest with her hands in the soil. Family was central to her life — she never missed a gathering and cherished time spent with her loved ones. Though she had no children of her own, she was a beloved mother figure to her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She delighted in watching each of them grow up, get married, and start families of their own.
A proud American, Ardell was a passionate supporter of the military and carried that pride throughout her life. She was known by many, loved by even more, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Parker LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends that morning from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
