Austin Matthew Price

Austin Matthew Price, 35, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Austin was born in Logan, Utah, on January 15, 1990, and was raised in Idaho Falls. He graduated from Skyline High School in 2008 and settled into a career of being a caregiver for the disabled. He lived in Boise from 2016 to 2025, when he moved back to Idaho Falls.

Austin had a true love for music and found happiness in playing his guitar, bass, and drums. He spent years sharing that passion with others as part of different bands, and music was always a meaningful part of his life. Austin was an avid computer gamer, loved to skateboard, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved immensely by his family and friends.

Austin was preceded in death by his mother, Heidi Joan Daw Nelson.

He is survived by his stepfather, Dan Nelson; his grandparents, Rick and Rebecca Daw; his aunt, Sage Hanson; and his uncle, Eric Daw.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at Rise Church, 502 E. 2nd Street in Idaho Falls. Interment will follow directly after the service at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, 4600 S. Yellowstone Highway, Idaho Falls, under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
