Blanche Leone Watrous, 79, of Ammon, passed away April 28, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Blanche was born October 8, 1942, in Shelby, Montana, to Edwin Palmer Olson and Delores Adelaide Hefter Olson. She grew up and attended schools in Montana.

On October 22, 1960, she married Eugene Milton Holverson in Idaho Falls, ID. They were blessed with two children, Steve and Deanna. Blanche and Eugene were later divorced.

On June 24, 1989, she married Paul Warren Watrous in San Diego, California. Blanche and Paul made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Blanche worked as a custodian for School District 91 at OE Bell, Eagle Rock Jr. High, and Idaho Falls High School.

She was an active member of AA and campground management for many years. She enjoyed life savers, crocheting, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Blanche is survived by her son, Steve Holverson of Ammon, ID; daughter, Deanna (Brian) Dorcheus of Salt Lake City, UT; step-son, Kyle Watrous of Fairhaven, Vermont; sister, Linda (Ralph) Gillespie of Shelby, MT; and 3 grandchildren, Meisha (Jordon) Jensen, Jayce Dorcheus and Connor Watrous.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul Watrous.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
