Bonnie Jane Park Seegmiller

Bonnie Jane Park Seegmiller, resident of Menan, Idaho, died on Thursday, Nov 17 at the age of 73 years.

Bonnie was born March 6, 1949 in Shelley Idaho to Ardella Laird and William Park. She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Education in 1987 from Brigham Young University.

Bonnie married Darrell Hyrum Seegmiller on May 9, 1969. Bonnie taught 6th grade for 25 years in Jefferson County School District. She was an active contributing member of the Menan community throughout her adult life.

Bonnie devoted her time and talents to her family and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Whether it was serving a full-time mission in Texas or facilitating addiction recovery support, she never shied away from a call to serve or assist those in need. She also loved to read and visit with friends. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Bonnie is survived by her spouse, Darrell Seegmiller of Menan, Idaho and her son, Beau (Sara Fry) Seegmiller of Boise, Idaho; her son, Pepper (Kayuri) Seegmiller of Provo, Utah; her daughter, Kimra Etheridge of Salt Lake City, Utah; her daughter, Katrina (Juan) Deaton of Moscow, Idaho; her daughter, Melissa (Darin) Hoskisson of Kingsville, Texas; her son, Luke (Leisha) Seegmiller of Lehi, Utah; eighteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 11:00 A.M. at the Menan Second Ward Meeting House, 3547 East Menan Lorenzo Highway, Menan, Idaho 83434. The viewing will be Monday, November 21, 6:30-8:30 P.M. also at the Menan Second Ward Meeting House. The viewing prior to service will be 9:00-10:30 A.M. Her interment will be at Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
